T&C's professional childcare services operates with two childminders. Theresa who is our registered childminder and Cheryl who is our assistant and between us we bring a wealth of experience in working with children. Theresa has brought up her own family and is now a grandmother. She previously worked as a nanny to four children but when the children grew up and started high school she missed the hands on childcare that she likes best.

Our childminding assistant (Cheryl) has a two children of her own, nine year old daughter and a 3 year old .Cheryls previous employment was with fife council at Strathallan primary school as a play worker. She has a SVQ level 2 early years care and education qualifications and is currently working towards level 3.
Between us we have extensive training in:
anaphylaxis awareness
child protection
domestic and sexual abuse
health and safety awareness
hygiene and safety concepts
baby and child first aid
paediatric first aid
epilepsy management
business planning
elementary food and hygiene

We are always looking to improve our childcare education and will soon be attending more courses such as behaviour management and parent involvement courses. We feel this is important to maintain our good standards as childminders. Both childminders are passionate about childcare and are dedicated to providing a first class professional service that not only provides fun activities but activities that educate, develop confidence, self esteem and physical health.
The service is registered with care inspectorate and also with the Scottish Childminding Association. All policies and procedures have been approved by the regulatory bodies and are available on request.
T&C's childcare service has been running for almost 7 years and have had care inspectorate inspections. We were graded an overall 4 in our first year and an overall 5 in our second year which is very good with grade 6 being the highest grade achievable.  We have maintained a strong grade 5 over the last few years while waiting on this year results .We aim to provide a professional service of childcare excellence that provides a range of safe and stimulating service to enhance educational, personal and social development within each and every child we work with. We realise that parents require a local and flexible service that not only provides the service they want for their children but also provides them at a time that suits them best. We are aiming to provide a happy, fun, warm, safe, clean and smoke free environment for all children in our care. The service will provide a wide range of activities to enhance personal and social development. This will include educational, physical and playful activities both indoors and outdoors. We care for children at all ages ranging from newborn to high school.
